    I hope they give them a proper PR route. The full 270 km would be a bit much as they're not used to it. But a good run in before Haveluy and Arenberg is essential.

    Fark. End of October and the Arenberg. That's some first PR for women - obviously they'll all have ridden the Arenberg, Mons En Pevele and the Carrefour before, but it's going to be brutal if it rains for the lighter riders especially

    It needs to be a serious distance. Say at least 160km, not some 55km exhibition race but yes, if they can't ride fast over the cobbles it will be hell... the hell of the North in fact.

    I guess 3 hours of Ellen van Dijk or van Vleuten soloing miles ahead of the peloton on cobbles is better than 5 hours, right?

    To be clear, it is stupid it has taken this long for it to happen.
