    2008 - Alejandro Valverde (ESP) - Caisse d'Epargne
2009 - Andy Schleck (LUX) - Saxo Bank
    2010 - Alexandre Vinokourov (KAZ) - Astana
2011 - Philippe Gilbert (BEL) - OmegaPharma Lotto
    2012 - Maxim Iglinsky (KAZ) - Astana
2013 - Dan Martin (IRL) - Garmin Sharp

    2015 - Alejandro Valverde (ESP) - Movistar

Valverde would join Merckx at the top of the winners list if he makes it 5 wins. Thankfully it seems wide open this year.

At last, a race with a decent live tracker

Actually, that's more than decent. Love the graphs of the break's gap to the peloton V distance covered, weather at front of race (including wind direction) and peloton average speed.

This is actually useful stuff, not that power output bollocks.

Some good exposure for the 3T disc bike. Not sure a single chainring is the ideal setup for today...

Eurosport lose the commentary - why does this never happen when Kirby is commentating?
  • Gap from break to peloton graphic....... ( UCI published this universal graphic for all races)

Aqua Blue again showing why they should have more invites. They ride hard and look great.

It seems that every time I put tv on, aqua blue are in the break lately. Have they come to some arrangement with neutral service to carry a spare bike? Or are they just relying on having a team car close at hand on every occasion? (Thinking more about the harder narrower mountainous roads I guess)

Nowt on La Redoute is the new norm, I'm afraid. Always used to be the launch pad.

Valverde not winning mid week may be a big factor today, Movistar have done little to nothing on the front other than Betancur & Anacona taking a couple of turns.
  • inseineinseine Posts: 5,782
They seem to have been holding off making the catch but it's bound to come soon. Time for a bit of uncertainty?

I know it's sacrilege to say it, but ye Gods this is boring. It gets worse every year - was much more enjoyable when everyone was on the Edgar
Fat chopper. Some racing. Some testing. Some crashing.
