Brake advice

SLX brakes. They are fine for a while but then I ride over some rooty stuff and it loses 'power' and I have to squeeze right into the bar and kind of have to pump it a few times to get the 'power' back and then they'll be fine for a bit and then it happens again. I'm guessing air in there? Pads recently replaced.

    Yes sounds like air in them, try burping it first. if you have one of them screw on yellow funnels fill it with some fluid and with the leaver horizontal pump the brake lever a few times. You see any air bubbles come out.

    Only time I've bled mine were when fitting and shortening the cables, never had to do it since and they are two year old xt m785.
