Replacement pads

Looking for replacement pads but don't want to pay silly money as it's only my commuter,I have come across these on eBay and anyone know if these would fit brakes are avid db1 https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/112282930139?c ... 5006558585

    Superstar and uberbike are worth a look for pads.

    Can't comment on clarks but they are a fairly cheap brand but reasonably respected for the cheapness.

    They are sintered pads though, there is also the option of organic pads which I prefer.

    I'd use organic on a commuter bike.

    I've been using these on my bike and my son's - pretty happy with them so far (organics)

    I use uberbike semi metallic on my mega tr and they are fine, there are a few variations of organic pads so make sure you know what your buying as in like resin only or semi metallic resin plus metal particles which are listed as organic etc.

    sintered pads I didn't like, need to be warmed up before you'd get decent bite on the disc from them and also the noise when wet did my head in, only for use in really gritty conditions I would say.

    kelvar get good reviews but never got on with these I found them to glaze too easily even when I did fully bed a set of pads in.
