Gear slipping

Bit of an odd one this.

Changed a chain last week or so and had slight issues with the indexing afterwards.

After a bit of fettling I now get gear slipping. This occurs only in the little ring and between gears 4-6 so mid cassette.

Gears do not jump sprockets just jumps and therefore stops momentum forward.

Cassette change perhaps?

What condition (how worn) is the cassette?

I've found if it's sort-of ok it'll usually settle down after a while, but you'll probably need a new cassette on your next new chain.
Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.

Cassette is in good condition I would say. All the teeth look equal and as they should

Lbs says possible bent rear mech hanger, had a bit of a fettle and that seems correct

If it occurs only in the little ring I think your little ring is worn. Have a look at the teeth profile.
