Bike shops/cafes New York/San Francisco and Las Vegas

Hello,

My girlfriend is going to the US this week and has been trying to find independent bike shops/cafes to visit. Thinking along the lines of a 'look mum no hands' type place.

Does anyone have any recommendations for New York, San Francisco or Las Vegas?

    There are Rapha CCs in both NYC and SF - despite its detractors, they're good cafés and tend to have their own 'personality' depending which one you're in. But there should be lots of choice, particularly in SF. Mash comes to mind straight away, but I'm not sure whether their shop is just a shop or if it's somewhere you can have a coffee as well.

    Can only help with NYC.

    It's not a cafe, but there's NYC Velo with a couple of locations. There's also Bike Works, on the lower east side.

    Mash looks right up her street, she's also looking for kit that you don't find everywhere.
