Is that a stupidly.expensive bike or a stupidly cheap house?

A bit of both, it's my half of a deposit for a £170k house and we haven't quite finished saving yet...

Houses are cheap here, bikes are not :(

    Bikes are more fun

Pleased to hear you failed. Was it due to being unwell or the oxy bottles? I know which would be more exciting.

I bet his partner is pleased too. Imagine all that junk in the garage that he would have to put up for sale.

Just unwell. I'm currently spending every other day on the rack getting my neck stretched, have sundry other joint related grumbles and for the last several days have had a viciously sore throat, now morphed into a solid cold/cough. Phark knows why, just picked up from somewhere.

The junk in the garage is not all my own work you know... the other half is a (retired) aircraft maintenance engineer. We have an awful lot of socket sets, spanners, wrenches, rivet guns, and assorted other specialist tools that do who knows what. The bikes are about the only things that get used much though

Agreed. We have decided to wait a year of two before we do anything now anyway. I pretended I had already ordered said bike and shes not thrown me out so I guess I'm in the clear?

Not sure if she is listening destinations which limit bike use.

Saw somewhere in Tuscany (link when I am home) for myself and a group of friends?
Tuscany isn't long haul for you??

End of August kind of kills some options I'd have thought. What about 'Murica? Is the date at all outdoorsy?? Rockies? Canada?

That very picture is what tempts me. It's not much heavier than the Ultimate CF and it looks more like a jet fighter so it's essentially better...

Outdoors? you mean sit at a location and watch the world go by with a book and champagne?

States was on the card until the dollar took a dive, though having lived their for 5 years it was for her.

Tuscany (beyond escaping the peninsular) is a quick flight away, many a good/long weekend has been spent in Firenze.

    Offered up Mongolia last night...

ps get the aeroroad, funeral colour it may be, but a great ride, and who said funerals had to be boring, mines a free bar.

Black is the new black in cycling these days.

I wonder when this trend will end.

Looks lovely. It'll be cheaper than the equivalent place in Tuscany just because it's in Umbria.
