Do British Cycling do anything for mountain biking?

Do British Cycling do anything for our sport? They don't support British xc or downhill racers, even up to the point of stopping young British downhill riders qualifying for UCI events.
Their social media and news emails rarely even acknowledge the existence of mountain biking.
I can't think of a single positive thing they have done for the sport. Enduro racing actually seems to benefit from not being affiliated with BC.
It seems that membership and race licence fees from mountain bikers just goes to road, track and CX events.
