I want to run an IRD 10 speed Campagnolo compatible cassette (12-32) with Campagnolo. 1st question: can I get this to work with Veloce mid length cage (which I own). I know that it's only rated by Campag to 29 or 30T but has anyone made this work? 2nd question: could I just put 10 speed jockey wheels on an Athena 11 speed triple rear derailleur? It's pretty expensive to just give this a try to find out so wondering if anyone has done it before.
Thanks!

Try-it as it also comes down to the geometry of your frame mech hanger and making sure there's enough clearance between the top jockey wheel and sprocket. A long-arm / triple mech won't make much difference - the top jockey wheel dimension is the same.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
