Just had a week in Fuerteventura on holiday. Rented a bike from the BH Concept store in Corralejo. Never ridden one of them before - I it was a quartz with 105 - found it quite pleasant - if a little compact and twitchy on descents (not helped by the constant 20mph+ winds)

The riding there is pretty dull - though the road surfaces are quite good and traffic very light, there isn't much to keep you interested. It's pretty much a barren wasteland and the aforementioned winds are soul destroying.

Anyone going there who wants to ride would do well to check the BH store out rather than the other bike hire places there - the guy running it was very friendly and had a good chat with her mother about riding the island. If I'd been there longer I would have done a day tour of the whole place, he gave me some great routes to ride in the south but I never managed to get down there
Fat chopper. Some racing. Some testing. Some crashing.
