Rear cassette

Hi im new to the mtb world and have just bought mavic 27.5 crossone wheels but my rear cassette doesnt fit the wheel just looking for advice as to what cassette i should buy?? The current 1 i have is a screw on 1 but my new wheels dont have the screw on part

Sounds like you have a freewheel, not a cassette.
They're the preserve of much cheaper bikes usually, so you may be about to get into a world of compatibility issues. How many sprockets does it have? 7?
Theoretically any cassette (not freewheel) with the correct number of sprockets will fit on the new wheels, if 7 speed you'll need a spacer on there, as the cassette is narrower.0 -

No, it appears that the chainrings on your bike are riveted to the crank arms

If you fit a seven speed cassette to that wheel you will need spacers to make it wide enough for the freehub.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
