Sounds like you have a freewheel, not a cassette.
They're the preserve of much cheaper bikes usually, so you may be about to get into a world of compatibility issues. How many sprockets does it have? 7?
Theoretically any cassette (not freewheel) with the correct number of sprockets will fit on the new wheels, if 7 speed you'll need a spacer on there, as the cassette is narrower.0 -
Yes its has 7 sprockets, if i was to buy this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/shim ... prod126349 would that work ?? Thanks0

What bike are you fitting it to? I cant think of any with 7 speed, freewheel and 27.5 wheelsTransition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

No, it appears that the chainrings on your bike are riveted to the crank arms
Something like this would work better - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/shim ... prod1330100 -
So if i buy that set it would fit on my bike0

If you fit a seven speed cassette to that wheel you will need spacers to make it wide enough for the freehub.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
