Evening :)

one last post prior to purchase - need to double check what im buying works if possible thanks.

im replacing my cattled hydraulic brakes on my GT with some shiny new Shimano ones - SLX M675 front and rear (without rotors)

i believe i have post fittings, and have 160 rear rotor and 180 front rotor.

will i need any additional brackets and will my rotors fit? Brakes to be purchased off a well known online retailer who we tend to blame :) or so goes the old joke .........

from what ive read its a straight swap - but being a bit of a novice working on the bike im a little nervous.

cheers

i believe i have post fittings
Both frame and fork are IS mount but you have an IS to post mount adaptor onto which your current post mount brakes are bolted, the SLX will fit to the same adaptor and you can use the same size disc.
