Feeding for training - Excellent Webinar

Training Peaks recently hosted a webinar presented by Dr John Ivy from Neogenesis.

While rather pedestrian in format (bit of a Powerpoint fest not helped by some technical issues) it contains a wealth of good information and provides pretty good answers to most every question that's ever been posted here regarding how to feed yourself for maximum training benefit. Special focus is not just what to eat but when. (It also, understandably, provides a bit of a plug for Neogenesis's beet supplement but it's not too bad)

I'd recommend it.

One point though it talks about "supplements" a lot this doesn't mean having to spend a fortune on sports products. "Supplement" in this context simply means protein, carbohydrate (and beetroot) taken outside of normal mealtimes in conjunction with workouts. These can be sourced from "normal" food, indeed Dr Ivy mentions some of these in the course of the presentation himself.
