Any Tips for servicing a Shimano SPD - SL pedal?

I think that the creak that i have has developed from the pedals...

Any tips, links etc?

    Hi
you need the TL-PD40 tool to remove the spindle. Once removed (very easy) clean the bearings. Put fresh grease inside the body of the pedal. Then insert the spindle and tighten. The grease is forced through and excess is expelled through the seal.
