11 speed shimano on 10 speed wheels

Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to use the new ultegra 6800 11 speed on old 10 speed wheels with some sort of conversion/modification?

    No, you need an 11 speed compatible freehub... what wheels? If they are Mavic you might be just fine, as their freehub for 10 was too wide and should take 11 speed

    Ah ok. No wheels in particular, just not as many available for 11speed at good prices.... Ultegra or dura-ace...I was looking at da7900 c24 second hand if poss...

    I see... the 7900 and 9000 share most of the technology, but will an 11 speed freehub fit on the 7900 hub? I am not sure... I fear the axle length is a tad different.
