rear wheel issue

Hi all, basically since I've had the bike I have had a few broken spokes on the rear wheel. However, last three rides have all resulted in broken spoke. I'm thinking the wheels are now four years old so have possibly worn and weakened the spokes? I'm thinking it might be best to replace at least the rear? Does this assumption seem correct or could it be another issue that's causing these breakage?

Poor spokes and or poor build, will cost about £40 to get an LBS to respoke it so as long as the hub and rim are good it may be worth going that route!
