Please help.

I have a budget up to £450.
I would like a mountain bike, I will not be cycling on the road. That's as far as I get.
I am using the Cycle to Work Scheme.
They have suggested I get Giant Revel 1 at £445.

Does anyone have any recommendations or reviews on the suggested bike.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Firstly, do not limit yourself to ladies only bikes. Secondly, have a read of the sticky thread at the top of this forum. :)

    Oh, and welcome!
2011 Giant Trance Ltd, 2016 Revs, XT bits etc.

Which cycle to work scheme? Different schemes will restrict you to different retailers and different brands.

The Revel isn't too badly specced, but similar can be had for about £100 less.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Specialized myka sport disc is decent, with a well regarded frame. Depending upon your choice of stores the 2012 model can be had for £400
