I have 16'' calves which for a girl is stupidly large. Only place I can get knee high boots from is Evans, not helped by only having size 4 feet! (Tested it in Brantano's once and size 8 normal people boots will just fit my calves) Skinny jeans just not happening here!

Cycling and sailing do not give you thin legs!

hahah just measured my calves. 20"...
Which would be impressive if not for Sailorchick's size 4 feet on 16" calves...
I've downgraded mine from 18 to 16.5 as it turns out headphone flex, A4 paper and guesswork is not what the LHC use to take measurements.

  • Quick measure: 18" calves. I've always considered them to be big. But since I started cycling they look like two great hunks of steak strapped to my legs. Always had a 32" waist. My biceps are pretty puny at 13.5" despite my best efforts in the gym.

    15"calves. 24 "thighs. 6' 2" tall. Just under 12.5 stone.

I've never been accused of being fat.

Meh! 18'' calves, bah... that's not even twice as long as my Smith and Wesson.

    Yeah, I win.

That all seems perfectly normal to me.

Go on, get the picture out, you know you're dying to.

I'll do it! Any excuse. Here's one I prepared earlier:

Got me an trophy, that one. (Runner-up, sadly, but a trophy nonetheless).

And as a Brucie bonus, here's another:

No AC in work the past two days so I made a stand and have been wearing shorts. No comments about unusually large calves, so 17.3'' is not unusual. Sweating continuously for two days is.
