Hi

Bought a Planet-X N2A bike with BB30 but want to put my Chorus group on it.

2 Options

1) Can anyone recommend a suitable adapter I can get delivered by Tuesday am latest as that's when the swap is being done

2) Recommend a reasonably priced BB30 chainset 172.5 50x34

Need to order tomorrow so ideas asap please guys.

Gotta go to work now instead of researching this so thanks in advance.

Found the Campag BB30 UT adapter.
    Would I need 68x42 or 68x46 ?

Depends on the frame, phone up Planet-X and ask. I believe some BB30 frames are made with tighter tolerances and take one adaptor, while others have looser tolerances and require the other.

You might want to use red loctite when fixing them in to prevent creaking issues.

The campag adapter have a insert flange that is two short I believe casing lots of creaking isses. The wheels manufactring adapter are reckoned to be more reliable.

68x46 is Press fit BB30 where 68x42 is proper BB30. the two are very different. The pressfit standard has pressfit cups into which the bearings sit bt the BB30 has bearing sitting directly in the frame.

    Thanks
Sure it's a standard bb30 rather than pressfit bb30. Currently has a Sram Force bb30 chainset in which the frame seems designed for given PX are putting Sram on all the N2As in the showroom.
I'll give them a call to double check before ordering one first thing as there are a few onlines shops with them in stock (I'll call Mercian first).
Would a Wheels Manufacturing one be superior to the Camapg one if I can find one in time ?
