Wheel problem?

I bought some new wheels a couple of months ago to put away for Xmas. I have just put them together and noticed that the valve hole for the rear wheel is slightly off centre. Is this a problem or is there a reason for this ? The wheels are shimano rs20.
Thanks, phil

Meaning closer to one hole than to the other or off the centre of the section of the rim?
Mismachining of the holes.. If it is the former and it is only a couple of mm, then there is no problem, as long as you can fit the pump head to inflate the tube, if it is the latter, then it might be a problem and best to return themleft the forum March 20230 -
It's ok, Shimano RS80s are the same on the rear wheel0

It's equal between the spokes but not in the middle of the rim0 -
The rim is assymetric ie shaped such that there is more material on the drive side as it is more highly stressed due to the angle of the spokes. This is quite common with many rims.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
