Hi have bought the above for mainly trail/road use(have an offroad MTB) however did not check out the chainset sufficiently(Sram comet) although great for trail work and bike fine for general trail work not so good for road work as out-pedal on the slightest downhills! Have it in a bike shop at the moment, but not having much joy as trying to get a more road compatible chainset fitted but Sram only manufacture for MTB/Urban the largets chainset at a 44 tooth which is only 2 teeth larger than the comet which is fitted, the other chainsets are for their road bikes which are not compatible with the offroad /urban frame. Anyone else had similar problems or can give some advice??

Cheers Al.

At a cadence of 100 you'd be doing about 30mph. If that's too slow you should have got a road bike.

Does have to be SRAM? Try FSA; should be fine with SRAM drive train. Can't comment on the bike though - I don't know it.
