    "Semantics". Nothing wrong with it as a word, but the irony of not knowing exactly what it means is lost on the people who say "That's just semantics" when they should say "That's a matter of interpretation" or something similar.

    I hate this insistence on calling the police the "feds" and Pounds "Dollars"... I mean I don't min a bit of inventiveness when it comes to language but when kids try to pretend they live in Queens/Bronx/South LA, I mean could they not be a bit more original and create something new and London/British?
