I had the pleasure of riding on the same course as Alex Dowsett last Thursday at our test track in work. It's great as you have to do 6 laps (total 10.33 miles), so you got to see him twice a lap... or passing me twice as well in my case.

My god, he's not fit and he managed to better the next best time by over 4 minutes!!

yeh he smoked past me in a 25TT in Maldon in 2010 even when recovering from a broken collarbone. By the way I am going to have a go at the racing at Dunton on Thursday. Any tips ?

I only do the TTs, but...

    - The rear loop is steeper than you think especially after a few laps
    - Watch for the expansion joints
    - Don't get caught on the outside, the banks are steeper than you think
    - On the front loop (the entrance end), the camber flips, so learn where it is otherwise you suddenly find yourself up on the banking

Here's my mapping of it on Map my Ride: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/87177505
