How to clean aluminium braking surface??
Just selling some wheels to a mate and am cleaning them up.... Ive got them sparking but I cant shift the black crud in the braking surfaces??
Ive tried brake cleaner STP stuff in a tin, but it doesnt seem to wanna do the job (probably removes invisible oil deposits but isnt shifting the block gunk. The surfaces havent donw many miles really so the ribbing is still there.
Any tips on what might dissolve this crud if put on a rag??
