not sure if this has been covered before but my bb is feeling a bit loose. Will try to tighten it up when i get home but if it's worn out do you change the entire unit or are you supposed to buy bearing cartridges and somehow replace that specific part. The bb is the 'external' type supplied as part of a tiagra groupset on a ribble i bought new in 2010.... Thanks

    both it depends on what you want to do.

    normally new cuip with the bearings already fitted is the norm.

    read parktools on what tools are needed.
