hi guys
i`ve read the need smaller gears etc but just want to clarify if i can use an ultegra 6700 casette on my DA 7900 setup?
i currently have 53/39 and 11-23 on the tt bike and 50/39 and 11-25 on the road bike, but looking at hilly routes for tt`s i think i need an easier gear - so will the ultegra 11-28 casette fit no problems?
ive checked on sheldon browns website and the 39-28 is 36.7 inches and the 34-25 is 35.7 inches so pretty close and i`m happy i`ll get up the pass with that as i can on the road bike.
cheers

Yes SRAM will work with Shimano.
Got an 11-26 SRAM casstte on my winter bike.
Have you not seen pictures of the pro's using SRAM cassettes with D-ACE in the mags?0 -
I have an Ultegra 6700 cassette which I don't need, 11-28 tooth, hasn't seen much use - complete with all the spacers, lock ring etc. Drop me a PM if you're interested.2012 Scott CR1 SL
