Bomb proof. No credit but the spare £50 can go to credit card interest.

please post back in six months on cost and depth of regret
  • So after much deliberation and realising that i am incredibly poor I got hold of a 2nd hand Boardman Hybrid.... and my parents paid for it .. NICE ! (28 years old but still getting bailed out .terrible.)

It seems lie a nice ride... apart from having to find a replacement gear hanger (I think it bent in the car on the way home)... I will get a road in summer..

Can anyone recommend winter tyres ? ... the current tyres are 700x28c, can I go wider ?
  • Just about to change the tyres on my wife's Boardman hybrid - as far as I can tell 700 32c is the largest that will fit, but I may be wrong.

Think a pair of Schwalbe Marathon Plus will be the ones to go for.
