Morning All, just up and showered. Got a full weekend of nights which I'm dreading, however I'm also very excited to be able to wear my new uniform so people will recognise I'm a nurse and not a student now. Yes, I realise that's very sad.

how long you been over there? when i was in tenerife the first year was like a bit of a holiday, then it started to sink in and i wanted to come home, but then after about 18 months it was like, cool, i live here now
8 months now, I think I'm starting to hit that lull - I can go to bars or places and meet people and have a chat, or go out with workmates (and rant about work) and that's fine but I don't actually have any proper freinds here. I don't think the onset of WInter has helped the mood much either as the cycling groups have stopped, plus work is getting a bit too quiet recently making for some tense atmosphere!
