It's a Specialized Stout and after about 25km it needs tightening.
Any ideas?

If you're sure that you're adjusting it properly maybe try a little threadlock on the locknut, but this shouldn't be necessary.0

If the locknuts aren't locked off against the cone, then its exactly what can be expected to happen!

No, the QR has a nut, not a locknut....

Cartridge means they are sealed units and I can't get to the bearings?"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

Or the nut holding the bars.......
Felix, you need to be more specific about which nut you mean...
I have spesh stout that are cup and cone.....
Cartridge bearings can be replaced - as a cartridge.....

Check the photo - I've got the Q/R nut and then the nut that you tighten to adjust the hub (too tight wheel wont spin - too loose wheel is wobbly)
There ain't no lock nut so guess that means they're cartridge but that still doesn't explain why the fekking wheel is coming loose"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

Make your mind up, is the wheel coming loose or the hub loosening.I don't do smileys.

Come on guys, throw him a bone. We all had to start somewhere.
Felix, those are cup and cone bearings, not sealed cartridge. And I would strongly advise carefully removing your disc rotor before your next step in this learning curve.

And remember to use a cone spanner for the cone. A regular spanner won't fit in there.0 -
on closer inspection it does seem the wheel is coming loose and the hub is ok as removed the wheel and put it back and now it seems fine
But Q/R lever was closed nice and tight - so can't see how it could loosen.
50km ride today up a and down a mountain - think I need to go to bed and look at it in the morning

The lock nut is right there, in the middle of your picture. The thing with 2 flat sides.0
