Hi Guys,
I am at some point looking at new bike and funds are being approved by the boss ( wife ). I want a rough idea re what poeple think about the new orange five pro 2012 and the new Specialized stumpjumper FSR Comp Evo. There is not much difference price wise and just wondered what people would go for if you had the choice, i would mainly be doing trails and entering various events but only on a fun basis nothing serious.
Thanks Guys.

The Orange 5 is heavy and underspecced for the money in my opinion, and if just basic trails you are riding, probably overkill. The Spesh is better value, but still a lot of travel there.
I'd test them if you can, but would also look at the 2011 Camber Pro:

Thanks mate, what do you think about the Camber expert this years model looks a good bike0

I'm tempted by the stumpy evo - looks a cracking bike for the money - I just avoided drooling on one ina shop the other day.
The orange has its lovers and haters - but has debate-able vfm compared to the EVO. Try one of each if you can.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -
Boardman do the FS Pro but not sure how this compares with the camber expert?0

Both very good 120mm travel bikes with similar suspension. The Boardman is a bit racier with steeper angles, the Camber more 'relaxed'.0

Thanks again mate0
