It's a totally non-linear scale though. 13 is actually very little.

About 140 a week commuting, maybe 20 off road on a thursday night if I'm lucky, and I reckon I'm having a lazy weekend if I don't do at least 40 off road on a saturday, 50-60 being my preferred target. I try and get out another night as well if possible, and once the roadie is back in business I'll be looking at 20 miles or so socially on road sunday morning.

So probably about 200 and a bit a week, on average....

As for ranking, well, I did one gorrick a while back to see what it was like and managed 11th. Any use?

I recently bought a smart phone and can tell you I do 70 miles a week. Before my smart phone I wouldn't of had a clue as I used to just measure my riding in time. I don't compete either
    just love to ride

Hmm, looks like you need a smartphone for that. Either that or some serious effort taking a gps out all the time.

Maybe you should measure your riding in how often you need to replace your transmission. However if you have a Truvativ external BB you can't count that as you'll prob have to replace it every other week.

Hmm, true I suppose. I used to run it on an old Nokia though, which was not really a smartphone.
Ah well. If you do ever get one, join in, it's good fun, and offers a bit of extra motivation.

I ride about 0.0004 moon distances a week...

    least....i think i do...

for a while i was using endomondo to track all my rides, including the commute....but i now usually forget to turn the thing on until half way through a ride....at which point I just can't be bothered....

this week I also had some funs....

    9x type 1 funs.
    2x type 2 funs
    1x type 3 fun

3 to 4 hours on a Sunday and about 2 on a Tuesday. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

Don't really bother counting miles, even if it's all off-road some miles are much harder than others.

You don't. I use my crappy cateye speedo/ odometer and add all my stuff manually. Yes, if you want more than distance and average speed you need a GPS but you can do without one. That said, an edge500 or similar will be my next bike related purchase when I have some spare cash.

Ok, or a speedo and adding it manually! Too much hassle for me I'm afraid! Don't have a speedo either!
