hi
ive been thinking about maybe doing 1 or 2 races this summer. i have never raced before and have been looking at british cycling website to get some info on race events.
but as im only going to be doing a couple of races will i need a full licence? is there a licence for half of the season or something?
(just seems a bit excessive to buy a full licence when im only doing a couple of races)

whilst im on this topic, what can i expect on a typical race day?
is there much to do pre-race? is it a rolling start? is there anything i need to know /any advice you can offer before i enter?

thanks

If you are only doing a couple, you can probably just get away with racing on a day license, if you are doing more than a couple, its cheaper to get a BC license

0, 5 or 10 depending on the race, and if you're a British Cycling member of any standard.
