Hi all,

Just after a spot of advice about tyres please.

I've recently bought a Trek 6300 (a MTB I know...bear with me) and amongst other things plan to use it to cycle to work. Journey of about 15miles each way, all road/cycle route.

It currently has Bontrager Jones XR tyres - 2.25 on Front and 2.20 on Rear.

Anyone know any not-bank-breakable suitable road tyres that will fit on. Tried to have a look but don't really know what I'd need.

Many thanks,

Scorchio

  • Schwalbe Marathon and Marathon Plus are well regarded. I use Schwalbe Big Apple 2.0" on my road going 26" ATB. You can get fatter Big Apples. Fat tyres roll excellently and the large air chamber makes for a comfortable ride.
