31.8mm Seatpost?

I'm thinking about putting buying a carbon seatpost to first of all improve comfort and secondly reduce weight, as I've added quite a few bits to it. According to Halfords the seatpost is 31.8mm but this isn't standard size, well i haven't seen one for sale before. So, is it really a 31.6mm seatpost or what, this is confusing?

looked at the marking on your current post?
31.8 is not an odd size it is quite common but it is also a standard clamp size so see what it says on the current post and read the how to measure a tube info in the FAQS."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

it hasn't got any numbers on the seatpost. I was looking below the minimum inertion mark where I heard that it is often written.0

I'll try measuring it and dividing by 3.14 then. I learnt this at school lol, I don't know why i didn't think of it.0

Well it did come out as 31.8mm. So now I guess, are there any 31.8mm carbon seatposts on the market for less than £50?0
