Hi.
I have a front Tektro Gemini Disc Brake which has 51mm wide mounting Holes and I want to mount it to my (Std 72mm wide Mount Hole) Post Mount Marzocchi Bomber forks. (With a 180mm rotor)
all the adaptors i can find are 72mm to 72mm.
What i need is a POST to POST (51mm Caliper to 72mm POST Mount) for a 180mm Rotor
Does anyone know where I can get such an item?
Or does anyone have one lurking in their bits box?
Thanks

sorry you have measured something wrong.
please provide pictures of what you actually have.
should be 51mm IS mounts on the caliper.
there has never been a 54mm Post mount."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

so get an IS to Post adapter for a 180mm disc then."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Is the POST MOUNT? or IS?
The Fork is POST MOUNT
The distance between the holes is different . . . . . . that's my issue
Sorry if I didn't explain it clearly0 -
again Pictures.
there have only ever been two post mount standards. 74mm and 69mm and 69 has not been used for years. (not forgetting the short lived 22mm version)"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

You're right, a picture speaks 1000 words
(And more accurately than I do )
So what do I need then please?0 -

Can't find any IS to POST (If that's what I need)
Can only find POST to IS
any suggestions?0 -
so you have an IS 51mm mount caliper. (with adaptor fitted).
Does this work with a 160 or a 180mm disc when fitted to a IS fork? at a guess 160,,
so any IS to Post mount adaptor will do as they increase the rotor requirements by 20mm.
lots available on CRC or Wiggle."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Hi.
having just been told by an Ebay "Caliper Adaptor Seller" that the Mount for the Caliper is always stated first, you are right, I need an IS to POST . . . . . .
But nowhere on Wiggle is there an IS to POST 180 Front adaptor (Loads of POST to IS's)
CRC have one but it states that it is no good for the new Zocchi POST mount forks (Which mine are)
I'm stumped0
