Mudguard advice for Giant Rapid 2

I've searched and googled away but to no avail. I was told that the Giant bikes can be a bit awkward when it comes to mudguards but can anyone recommend some?

I'm currently looking at getting the Crud RoadRacer Mk2 Mudguard Set but am not sure if these will fit?

    I've got some Crud's on my Cannondale Synapse Hi-Mod which has got very little room for the mudgaurd to fit, however with the Cruds I had no problem, thoroughly recommend them :wink:

    As far as I know the rapid 2 has 28mm tyes, so you wont fit crud roadracers unless you change to 23's. Some people have said they have fitted them with 25's but it didn't work for me.
