  • The Tarmac is all Ultegra 6700 with a compact, dura-ace chain.

Wheels are Planet-X Model Bs, swapped from Ksyrium Equipes which were really heavy (1950g) and the hubs needed constant tightening. CL7850s will go on in the spring. Tyres are Conti GP4000s.

Ritchey WCS stem, Specialized alu bars, secret carbon post and Toupe saddle. Look Keo Max pedals.

    17.2lb

The Scott is mostly 105 with a 46/36 chainset, although I use a 42 when it's muddy. Cassette is a 12-28 Shimano SLX. Pedals are XT SPDs. Tektro wide stance brakes with koolstops.

The saddle is an SLR XC on the Specialized Pave seatpost that came with the Tarmac.

Wheels are Reynolds Alta Race, with 30mm Michelin Muds set up tuebless with a No-Tubes kit. Maxxis Raze for whe it's dry or frozen.

Bars are flared Easton EA70s and the stem is a £9 ITM job from ebay.

    Just over 20lb.
