Kona Cindercone front mech clamp size?

I am upgrading the derailleurs on my 2005 Kona Cindercone and was wondering if anyone can tell me if the front mech clamp size is 31.8 or 34.9 mm. I'm ordering the SLX derailleur and shifter bundle from Merlin but not sure what size? I've taken the seat post out and tried to measure the diameter of the seat tube which I think is 31.8 but it's a bit hard for me to see. I don't want to remove the existing mech until I have the new one.

Anyone know for sure please?

    Easier to measure the circumference with a tape measure and divide by 3.14, which will give you the diameter.

    31.8 will be near as makes no difference to 10cm, 34.9 almost 11cm. Easier to measure 1cm than 3mm.
