Ah, it's that young Thomas de Gendt chap in the breakway. Getting in some practise for the ToB, obviously.

23 km to go... 2'53" for de Gendt, Van de Walle and Rosseler.

Gilbert, Leukemans, Voeckler and Martens chasing, with the peloton just behind. Could be a close run thing.

It's a funny old race. No way are they going to catch the 3 up front, yet Gilbert attacked twice to select this group.
What the heck were BMC and Kroon doing, getting on camera like that before July?

Yeah, because he's not like a favourite for this weekend, is he?

    In my book, he's not.

Well with 3 Belgians in the lead, it looks like we'll finally have a Belgian "classic" winner this year.

Practice for Sunday. That's the reason I'm watching; to hone my PTP pick for AGR

    Cue zero points again.

This is the first time I've heard the word 'Chavanel' since Paris Nice...

Paul Martens must have had the same teacher as Flecha in the Rabobank School of Wheelsuckage. A grade-A student.

History of being good at the race not good enough for you, eh, Blaze?

2nd and 9th? That doesn't make him a favourite in my book either. Sorry. He doesn't win very often.

Wow, Martens moves from 4th to 3rd in the chase group. He's gonna get a nosebleed if he moves up any further.

To be fair Rabo were a bloc on the peloton for a while for Freire

May get another replay of the slowest sprint since Flecha tried to take Hushovd. :P

Boo - I was really hoping De Gendt would win, after his endearing follies at ToB.

That said, he did the least work between the three of them from what I saw so I guess it was justice...

Good to see a breakaway stay away as well - makes a change!
