They only showed a bit of him on the coverage, but he seemed to be all over the road.... I think they said that it didn't really suit him yesterday, but he'd give it a go...http://www.georgesfoundation.org

I think the course is the same as last year, it is hilly and the times are slow.
Still, can't help but feel Wiggo is playing catch-up. Even if he's not been climbing well, you'd hope he could save something for the TT. It's all about July.0 -

Anyone hear Magnus on about building up speed gradually at the start of a TT? Some riders sprint out of the saddle from the start and by the time they get up to speed and sit down apparently "they are lactating already"
Good to hear someone keeping, ahem, abreast of matters.'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0 -
looks like Valverde has a bit of work to do here or the lead will slip away.Contador is the Greatest0

From what I can tell he's now about 11sec down, with about 7mins to go?0

That old codger Horner looks to have monstered poor old Valverde
What a Piti, hope he doesn't drop to #18 etc etcFckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
The gap's coming back down but surely too late?0

By far the biggest win of his career.
Seems to have caught the Bruyneel trialing bug, too.
Horner is starting to look a real prospect for the future."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Well - no one picked Horner for the PTP GC win. 40 points for second still ain't bad!

Peraud:
His chain fell off during the 1st climb and during the second part he fell and had to change bikes.

Great win by Horner as you say best of his career. Maybe now the early season nonsense directed at RS by many in here for not winning any races will die down a bit.Gasping - but somehow still alive !0 -

I thought they'd done ok - Paris-Nice was a bit disappointing as you would've expected Levi to figure, but they've done ok in a few of the other stage races.
Wierd watching Horner, he looked like he was really labouring on the climbs but he was motoring.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0
