What is the best mp3 player that I can buy (with best attachment) so that i can listen to both audiobooks and music on my commute to and from work?

OFC everyone is entitled to their opinion i can only go on my experiences, round here i am the only "pacey? " commuter i ever see, the rest ride on foot paths so drivers do not look out for you .
Without hearing and constant shoulder looks to let drivers know you can see them it can be very dicey.
If you have a nicer commute and feel safe to do so go for itFCN 3/5/90 -
yes i was not after the safety angle  my ride back is all cycle track...so i should be reasonably safe there....

One that if dropped and smashed won't make you cry or break the bank to replace.
If I ever do use one it's for one ear as I need to hear traffic!0 -
Old iPod shuffle, the one with the clip that has controls on.0

Sorry if we got confused i was aiming the reply at another poster who decided to use pictures of dogs rather than trying to put forward a coherent sentence .FCN 3/5/90 -

only a bit muffled tho (joke honest - couldn't resist)
you will be sure to jump in next time someone on here is naive enough to suggest a helmet might have saved them from getting hurt and the wolves start to circle.0
