Probably a very stupid question, but influenced by the video of the MBUK boys riding in the local car park. Illegal im guessing, but after it closed, no cars in the vicinity. Thinking nice little race in the car park, top to bottom?

Sort of thing you would get done for?

The car park will be privately owned. So with the owner's permission you can do whatever. Without, you're trespassing. Which is a civil offence, not a criminal one, but in theory you could be liable for damages etc.

In practice if the car park has CCTV or guards etc you might be "asked" to leave. If not then probably nobody will notice...
  • A lot of car parks are getting included under the road traffic act now and in relation to railway car parks you can be prosecuted under the byelaws.

  • If you're talking NCP kinda thing, it's highly likely you're going to be asked to leave, shouted at, or have the police called. The police aren't going to do any more than tell you to leave tbh.

Depends were you go though and what time. Common sense is a useful human trait I find.

It'll be the luck of the draw, first if there is anyone about in charge, second if they can be bothered to ask you to leave.

But that is about all it will come to.
Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"
