Hey, myself and 4 other mates are in the process of organising a weeks's trip mountain biking in Morzine, France. Has anyone else been? Can you recommend accomodation or particular trails you really enjoyed?

Depends on what accomadation you're looking for you can camp around the outside which is ok or go for a chalet or apartment which i've also done (and is more comfortable!) In terms of trails I'd recommend moving around a bit. Alot of people just session the main runs into morzine but there's lot of great trails over in Les Gets and Chatel which are also less busy the Chavanne run into Les Gets is one of my favourites, best way is to get the trail map and look around. I've been but not MTB specific. We've got friends with a chalet there so just done a bit of trail riding on the few summer trips I've been (usually go for skiing in winter)
Going in August this year though with the view to getting armoured up and going nuts. I've covered a fraction of the Morzine side and the trails were amazing (I was on a hardtail with t-shirt and shorts and no helmet) so was taking it easy.
This year I'm planning 5 days covering Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz.
After that i'm going to win the lottery and get my own chalet
