is there a way of calculating cadence required to ride at an average speed on a given gear ratio?
i'm asking because i've got a track 48-15 ratio atm and want to change to something I can spin on for winter riding and have little idea how greater change in terms of teeth numbers will have.

Gear choice depends on where you live and how strong you are, but for general use I'd start on 48x17Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
