If I remove the pushloc (with the adjustable compression dial) from my rebas will it be left with the compression set to max or min and would the fork be left in the locked position?
I don't lock the forks and tend to have the compression set to minimum. Ideally I want to remove the pushloc, but I don't want shell out for my LBS to fit a new part (as I believe is idealy required).
I was thinkiing I could just remove the clamp & cable myself, but I don't want to then find that the compression setting is set to max and the fork is left in the locked position, if that makes sense?*Rock Lobster Team Tig SL (22lb 14oz)

The spring in the damper moves it back to min.
This is why I didn't like original, non blue dial poplocs - you couldn't adjust the comp damping. I set mine 3/4 usually as it tames bob and brake dive. WIth original it was on, or off.
Pushloc has a 8 position dial for the comp damping.
You can remove the spring in the damper stack with loc forks so you can use the fork knob as usual, but requires an o ring to give it 'friction'.0 -
Thanks for the info, seems I can remove the clamp and still have the fork how I like it!
Reckon the clamp and the cable gota save me an ounce *Rock Lobster Team Tig SL (22lb 14oz)
