Different HT2 bearings??
I have HT2 BB bearings on my 105 equipped bike. Given the recent soakings it's received I plan to take them off and attempt to clean / regrease the bearings.
If I make a hash of it and decide to replace them cups and all, do I have to use 105 replacements or can I use Tiagra for cheapness? Would there be a weight / longevity benefit from upgrading to Ultegra? Or are they all the same 6805 bearings in different coloured alu shells?
Should I press out the bearings and get some SKF replacements??

any road cups will be fine AFAIK
whether the more expensive cups last longer is questionable. I've only used Ultegra myself.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0
