Best mini pump?

    as mini pumps go they are the best I've tried so far but much prefer the ones with the flexible hose. The air drive is the cheapest they do and it will get you out of trouble. As for carrying in a pocket and performance the pressure drive is the best. It's fairly small and thin and gets a higher presure more quickly.

    The road drive is the next best thing to a frame pump but it's not really pocket friendly and the one I've got is the medium. The large would make a good fram pump replacement and touring pump :wink:

    Thanks.I already have the large road drive attached to my winter bike and a medium pressure drive which fits in a pocket.Both excellent.

    Used my pressure drive small "in anger" for the first this week end - got 90lb + no effort very pleased with it .

    Tom - don't think road drive is supposed to be mini - but if you've decide to frame mount it looks the business

    Just a quick question for those with the Lezyne Pressure Drive Medium. I had one delivered last week and had my first ride with it today. I attached the holder on the non drive side of my bike and with the handle facing up but it didn't half rattle. Turned it the reverse with the handle down and this cured the problem, so my question I suppose is has anyone had the hose fall out with it that way around? With the shape of the bracket It does look like the pump is supposed to go that way around.

    I got to use it today, twice, on my mates bike but could only get it pump to 60 PSI before everything went solid.... thought it would be better than that...

    Topeak 2 timer for me.... CO2 cartridge dispenser and high pressure pump in one unit. Small enough for a jersey pocket, but also has a frame bracket so can be fitted with no hassle...... it's the lazy sod way to go

    Mine doesn`t rattle at all with the handle pointing up.You need to put the pump in right,it shouldn`t be upside down.
    Topeak 2 timer for me.... CO2 cartridge dispenser and high pressure pump in one unit. Small enough for a jersey pocket, but also has a frame bracket so can be fitted with no hassle...... it's the lazy sod way to go
    I carry a microflate co2 aswell,being a lazy sod.I bet that topeak is hard work,though,as a pump if you have to use it.

    Looking at the holder there is a difference in the size of one of the plastic 'fingers', one is slightly bigger in diameter compared to the rest therefore is seems obvious that the pump handle is meant to be located into the bigger diameter 'finger'. Locating it this way puts my pump upside down and no rattles so the only thing I can think of is to move the holder from the seat tube where I have it, to the down tube. Is this where yours is located?
