Lookng to use my new bike to commute to work occasionally and am looking at locks but havent got a clue which one to get. The general census seems to be jusy dont bother its not worth it, if your bike's worth more than a tenner its gona get nicked!

Depending how expensive your bike is, you might well be better off just buying a cheap old hack bike for £50, plus a £5 lock, and riding that to work - instead of risking your pride and joy.0

I don't have the space for a second bike. I'd recommend the best Kryptonite D-lock you can afford, a kryptoflex to secure your wheels and some good insurance in case the worst happens.
