Just a quick question, I've a niggle behind my right knee which I'm assuming
is hamstring tendinitis, I have a tens machine which I've found good for other injuries, does anyone know if the tens would work on the hamstring.
Thanks
Gary

  • if ur experiencing pain behind the right knee tendinitis does seem the logical explanation. although using a tens machine will elleviate the pain it will only be of short term benifit...
the origin of the hamstring is in the glute and runs down the back of your leg and the insertion is in the knee joint. some simple stretching and neuromuscular facilitation could help...
what stretches do u perform after training?
  • I think the lack of stretching before exercise was the problem, I felt it pop on the rowing machine. That was a few days ago, the niggle eased off it was fine yesterday on the turbo, tried the rower again today and it popped again. I think I'll avoid the rowing machine for a while and stick to light work, I don't want it to develop into something nasty.
